November Rain
Just yesterday, working in Richmond…
In order to promote our listings, and to generate new business as well
I often door knock together with my colleague Michelle in the area
This for sure is dynamic and highly entertaining, as you never know who’s going to open the next door and how they’ll feel about that. Adrenaline levels are up. Obviously, you are interrupting people and, as you sign up to be in real estate sales, you just know that you are – in fact – in the business of barging in.
Shy real estate agents have skinny kids – as Gilbert obsessively told me, many years ago.
So, you gotta do what you gotta do.
As said, yesterday, working in Richmond, 1.00-PM, we saw a house full of people, with all lights on.
“This is our lucky day!” I said to myself
As a gentleman opens the door and we introduce ourselves.
I can see on his face that it may be possible we are not on the right path. And then:
“Son, this is not a good time…”
“I get it. You’re not selling the house. But who do you know that…”
“Son, you don’t get it… This is a wake. We just arrived here from the funeral.”
Always here to help
As everything else in life, in times of uncertainty, we focus on the fundamentals
We have a lot of local experience with this and can help you get out of that corner

We do the work that actually works!
Who do you know who might be worried or unsettled about the financial impact of these days, or someone who should just know about the work that we do? I’m never too busy to see if I might become a valuable resource for them.
