What a Listing Consultation, last night in Tsawwassen!
The gentleman Seller, now in his 80’s, erupted with his story: he got divorced when he was fifty and when he decided to start dating again, he placed an ad in the newspaper. Of course he saved the ad: “50-year-old Unemployed Loser. I do not like moves, music, dancing, theater, arts, literature, dining, vacations, cruises or walks on the Tsawwassen Beach.” He received 183 responses, back then.
To my surprise, he has a somehow personal question for me, but it’s all about peace and love:
“And you, Harris, what would you like to hear them say as they walk past your casket?”
“Well, I’d like to hear them say that I was a hard worker, a good provider, that I took good care of my Family. How about you, Sir?”
“… I think I’d like to hear them say: ‘Hey, look!!! I think he’s moving!’… “
As everything else in life, in times of uncertainty, we focus on the fundamentals
And these come down to location and the fewest possible objections from the Buyer and their Agent.
