We have sign toppers for pretty much every occasion… we thought
Of course, right now, most of our signs say: “Home for the Holidays”
This is when I get The Call:
“I’m calling about the ‘Home for the Holidays’ house.”
Me: “Absolutely, what’s the address?”
“Well, the one on View Street.”
Me: “Sure, how can I help?”
“Well, when can I move in?”
Me: “I’m sorry – do you mean you want to write an offer for the house?
You haven’t even seen it.”
“No, it says ‘Home for the Holidays.’ I want to move in before Christmas.”
“Ma’am, I’m sorry… We’re not giving the house away, we’re selling it.”
“Well, I can’t afford a house!” *click*
