$32+Million House Goes Undercover
City says “only” $18.6 Million. Valued the year before at $21.5 Million. What a drop!!!
Seller said $32-Million and more – for one year and one day, again and again
Unfortunately, nobody listened – and even in 2020, you still need two hands for a handshake elbows for an elbow shake
Was the Seller overly ambitious when demanding 76% over what the City assessed this for?
One thing is sure, the Seller will pay $115.000- in Property Taxes this year
This very same property traded for $2.5-Million in 1995 and – surprisingly – the Property Tax at the time was $13.000-
One would think if the Tax went up by X10, the selling price should go X10 up, as well.
They Don’t Make Em’ Like That Anymore
